Monday Homework
There will not be any spelling or reading homework assigned in Room 13 this week due to the short 3 day week. However, all students need to read each night to continue their progress in Reading Counts. In addition, students need to continue to practice their division facts each night. Math homework will be assigned as usual on Tuesday night.

Spelling: CCC with this week's words. This week's words include 10 high frequency words: because, toward, special, there, their, they're, a lot, fourth, forth and any words students have missed on the 2 previous week's words.
We are now practicing division facts; multiplication fact fluency grades are ready for Term 2 progress reports.

Spelling: Spelling sentences for these words: howl, bounce, jaw, couch, dawn, false, sauce, wood, put, push, tool, full, roof, and pull, plus another word from this week's 30 words (student choice). Students will be tested on all 30 words on Friday.

Reading: Students with a reading folder need to read orally for 15 minutes and get a parent signature. Students also need to practice their fluency passage. Easy CBM words per minute scores (PRF) will be taken later this month and students who consistently practice each night should see improvement in their words per minute.
Spelling: CCC with this week's words: American Stories Spelling Review
Math: Unit 1 Lesson 9 pages 69/70. This will be our last week assessing multiplication facts. We will move on to division facts next week.
