Monday Night Homework

Reading: Students with a reading folder need to read for 15 minutes and get a parent signature.  Students also need to practice their fluency passage.  As we are starting a new term, goals for Reading Counts will increase and start over.  All students need to set new goals with their reading teacher.

Spelling:  CCC with this week's words, "Focus on Mysteries" from Theme 1.

Due to the short week, there is no assigned homework this week.  Students still need to practice their facts and continue reading their Reading Counts books.  I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!!

Tuesday Homework

Reading:  Students with a reading folder need to read  for 15 minutes and get a parent signature.  Students also need to practice their fluency  passage.

Spelling: CCC with this week's words from Theme 1's Journeys Reading and Writing Workshop.  Practice Spelling book page 28 if it was not finished in class today.

Math: Lesson 17 pages 53/54  Please continue to practice your Mixed Facts!!!!

Don't  forget, Room 13's book order is due November 16.  I will not be sending out a book order in December, but if  there are holiday gifts you want to order, just write "SURPRISE" on the envelope and I will call you instead of giving your child the books.  Help!!!  Only 1 order has been turned in.

Math: Lesson 15  pg  45/46

All students need to continue to practice their multiplication facts

Also, remember to watch the election coverage on TV or radio!  Students need to color in the states as they are awarded to Obama or Romney.
