We are winding up our multiplication fact unit.  To reach benchmark a fourth grade student must demonstrate master of 100 mixed multiplication facts with 90% accuracy in 6 minutes.  The deadline to demonstrate this proficiency is November 5th with the Ice Cream Sundae party on November 7th.

Monday Homework

Spelling:  Theme 1's review list of 30 words will be tested on Friday.  Students need to pick 15 words for their Monday night CCC spelling homework,

Thursday Homework

Math:  Lesson 9 pages 23-26

Students are expected to have memorized their X7 facts by tomorrow. Next week we will work on X8's with mixed facts after that.  Our ice cream sundae celebration is scheduled for November 7,  just before conferences.

Spelling:  Spelling test on homophones is tomorrow.

Reading: Students with folders need to read 15 minutes, practice their fluency passage, and get a parent signature on their folder.

Math: Lesson 6 pages 15/16 Students also need to continue to practice their X9, X4. X3, and X6 facts.  Students will be expected to pass 100 facts in 6 minutes with 90% accuracy on each level when they return Monday, October 15.
